News / Two accidents in 24 hrs
THREE people were taken to hospital with minor injuries following a road traffic accident involving two cars on the A971 at Weisdale on Wednesday morning.
Police said the road was partially blocked for a short period.
A second collision occurred on the A970 at the Brig o Fitch junction on Tuesday evening.
No one was injured and minor damage was caused to both vehicles when a Transit van and a service bus collided.
Area inspector Lindsay Tulloch said: “Although the collisions are not being attributed to the recent adverse weather conditions, road users are reminded to be cautious of the continuing heavy showers and changing weather conditions”.
