News / Strachan makes it in to final
LERWICK swimmer Andrea Strachan has qualified for the final in the 50m breast stroke at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The 21-year old came fourth in the second semifinal and managed to just qualify with a time of 31.52sec.
She joins Scottish swimmer Corrie Scott and Kathryn Johnstone who both also made it in to the finals.
The 50m breaststroke final will take place in the Tollcross Swimming Centre on Friday evening.
