THE local RSPB is reminding people that setting trout nets in burns is illegal. Last year a red-throated diver and a shag died after becoming trapped in nets in Cunningsburgh. Species and habitats officer Malcolm Smith said the organisation had now received reports of such nets being set in another burn in Shetland.
