A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured after being involved in a collision with a car on the main road between Voe and Mossbank on Saturday afternoon.

At 2.40pm a fire crew from Brae went to the scene to assist the ambulance crew care for the victim and made the scene safe.

It is understood the injured man is in his 20s and lives locally. Sources say he has been flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a broken arm and leg.
