A YOUNG Shetland man who was found with a “significant quantity of cocaine” when he was searched by police officers was lucky not to be charged with intent to supply when he appeared before Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Steven Walterson, of 11 Ladies Drive, Lerwick admitted possessing almost 27 grams of the Class A drug at his home address on 20 December.
Sheriff Philip Mann deferred sentence on the 22 year old until 26 June.
