News / Threat to stab
A TWENTY FIVE year old man who has admitted threatening to stab and kill someone with a knife has been kept in custody ahead of sentencing.
Alexander Nicholson, of Bathgate, pleaded guilty to breach of the peace, brandishing the knife and making the threats at an address in Lerwick earlier this month.
He was on bail at the time the offences were committed.
When Nicholson appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday afternoon, sheriff Philip Mann elected to defer sentence until 15 May while background reports are prepared.
