News / Lost medication
POLICE in Lerwick have warned local people that powerful anti-depressant and painkilling drugs have been lost in the town.
The amitriptyline and tramadol tablets, which were prescribed by a doctor, were lost around 9.45am on Friday morning.
The police say they could pose a significant health risk if they were taken in the wrong dose by the wrong person.
A spokesman asked that anyone finding the drugs to take them to the nearest police station or pharmacy or call 101.
