Letters / Make up your mind
Answering Leigh-Ann McGinty of Scalloway (Hill’s illogical path; SN, 19/03/14), undecided after reading comments on independence, is simple: make your own decision on what’s being offered for Scotland, which includes Shetland.
There will be no going back, the choice is final as this is not an election.
Shetland has a history of centuries of land exchanges, of titles etc, but the same could be said about mainland Scotland.
I love Scotland and defend my birthright but the decision is not to look back.
There is nothing concrete in independence and no guarantees are given.
