News / Court bails Lerwick woman on heroin charges

A LERWICK woman has been charged with drug offences in relation to a haul of heroin worth £5,000 on Thursday.

Pauline Flaws, aged 43, appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court after spending the night in the cells at the local police station.

She was charged with contravening the Misuse of Drugs Act, but made no plea or declaration before being released on bail.

Flaws was committed for further examination and will appear in court again next week.
