Letters / Dishonest
In reply to Mr Bunyan’s letter regarding renewables in Shetland (No renewables; SN, 04/02/14) I find his comments dishonest, in fact a litany of complete fiction.
I choose those words well. I quote the following from his letter:
“This policy means Sustainable Shetland not only opposes Viking Energy but it wants to stop ANY new commercial renewable energy development in the islands. No tidal power. No wave power. No onshore wind power. No offshore wind power. No new renewable energy industry. No new jobs. No new money to regenerate local communities.”
Those statements are simply not true. I challenge you Mr Bunyan to accurately reference a single one of those statements.
