News / No north boats tonight
HIGH winds mean Serco NorthLink’s passenger boats will not sail in either direction on Tuesday night.
The Hjaltland arrived in Lerwick at 6.30am, but its 7pm southbound sailing has been cancelled.
Likewise the Hrossey, which made it to Aberdeen just before 7am, will remain in the Granite City overnight.
Shetland Islands Council warns that disruptions on the Yell Sound ferry can be expected as of mid afternoon. The Bluemull Sound ferry will be suspended as of late afternoon. Last sailings will be the 5.40pm from Gutcher and the 5.55pm from Belmont. The Whalsay service is currently running to Vidlin.
