Letters / Not credible, radical
Bill Adams in his letter (Project Fear; SN 22/01/14) fails to address the content of the letter written by this triumvirate from the No campaign.
I believe the reason for this is that he has no credible argument to offer, so he resorts to ad hominem and peruses an attack on the authors rather than the letter content.
This of course leaves himself wide open for a broadside of a similar nature due to the lack of credible debate in his letter.
Why should three intellectuals not sign off a letter collectively, some petitions have more than three thousand signatures, it shows greater support for what has been said.
Unless of course you are against freedom of speech, which is probably closer to the truth than Bill would care to admit, as his letter give of an indication of a distinct leaning to the very radical left.
Your choice of the word “troika”, Russian for “a set of three” rather than the English “triumvirate” suggests something of an even greater lean to the left does it not, “Comrade”?
When independence is debated these are things we should all pick up on as it indicates something of a more radical nature to the Yes campaign, something Comrade Salmond and Co would not want us to see.
This pointing of fingers and making accusations of scaremongering and project fear are all smoke and mirrors to hide the fact they have no answers and to camouflage the real project we should all fear.
