News / Burravoe cash
A COMMUNITY shop in Burravoe says a cash boost from the Co-operative Group has made a “huge difference” in an increasingly difficult financial climate.
The Yell shop has been awarded a £500 grant allocated by Co-operative members in the Highlands.
It comes from a community fund through which the Co-operative distributes money to support local causes.
Burravoe Food Co-operative’s Marina Brown said: “Funding is becoming ever harder to secure, therefore we were delighted to hear that we were successful in securing this grant from the Co-operative. The cash has made a huge difference to our group.”
