Letters / Walter Shewan’s boats
Does anyone have a complete, or even a partial, list of the boats that were built by Walter Shewan of Fetlar?
I would be very interested and grateful to have that information if anyone can supply it to me. I need it for some research I am carrying out, and as I am currently living in Spain, it isn’t always easy for me to get all the information I need.
It would also be really helpful if anyone knows who the boats were built for. I know Walter Shewan’s boats were highly prized and found their way all over Shetland, but although I once had a list with all the details, I can no longer find it.
