News / Renewed appeal to help trace missing man
POLICE in Shetland have renewed their appeal for help in finding the whereabouts of Colin Arnot after the 54 year old was seen within the Lerwick area on Tuesday.
The North Roe crofter was reported missing late on Monday evening.
Arnot is described as a tall man at six feet two inches, well built with a short beard and grey hair. He speaks with an English accent.
Inspector Eddie Graham said this lunchtime he was confident that a positive sighting of Arnot had been made.
“Indications are that he is still in Shetland,” the inspector said.
“He may now have access to a small dark coloured vehicle. We are requesting that anybody with any information as to the whereabouts of Colin Arnot please contact Police Scotland on 101.
“In addition we are also asking for Colin to get in touch locally because we need to confirm his wellbeing.”
