News / Arnot still missing

Colin Arnot has been missing since Monday.

POLICE have issued a photo of Colin Arnot’s car, the North Roe crofter Colin Arnot who has been missing since Monday.

A spokeswoman for the force confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the search for the 54 year old was ongoing.

Arnot is a tall man around six feet two inches, well built with a short beard and grey hair who speaks with an English accent.Chief inspector Angus MacInnes said: “We are concerned for Colin’s wellbeing and would ask that anyone who has any information to please contact us on 101.

“We are circulating a recent photograph of his vehicle, a Mitsubishi Shogun, registration X699 VYA.

“There are not many of these particular vehicles in Shetland and I would ask the public to report any sightings.”
