News / Another award for Frankie’s

HAVING already been named best chippie in Scotland, Frankie’s also triumphed in the Highlands & Islands tourism awards on Friday night.

The Brae eaterie secured top spot in the training and skills development category, beating tour operator Wilderness Scotland and Mackays Hotel, in Wick.

“We are absolutely delighted to have won this award as we put a strong emphasis on staff training and skills development,” said Frankie’s manager, John Gold.

“It was a great end to a fabulous week for all the staff at Frankie’s and recognition of all the hard work they put in.”

As a result of this latest success Frankie’s will now compete in the Scotland-wide Thistle awards against Gleneagles Hotel, Mercat Tours and The Village at Macrihanish.
