Shetland based Frankie’s Fish and Chips have scooped yet another award when they were named the top fryer in the north of Scotland.
The Brae based takeaway and café will now compete against Moore’s Fish & Chips, from Castle Douglas, to determine the overall winning shop in Scotland.
Both chippies will now be assessed by an industry judge, who will be making un-announced shop visits to conduct a detailed judging inspection.
The Scottish winner will be one of the top 10 in the UK that will fight it out for glory at the national final in January.
