News / Ferry delay
ROUGH seas in the Fair Isle gap are likely to delay the Serco NorthLink ferry Hjaltland on Monday night’s sailing from Lerwick, which is now expected to berth in Kirkwall at midnight.
The company said that the delay may also affect the arrival time in Aberdeen.
Heavy swells at Scrabster are also causing delays to the Pentland Firth crossing.
