A SHETLAND woman admitted supplying her friends with cannabis resin at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Claire Huntington, aged 29, was arrested after police found 45 quarter ounce wraps of the Class B drug when they came to her home at Fairview, Walster, Tingwall on 4 October last year.
Procurator fiscal Duncan Mackenzie said the drugs weighed a total of 195.6 grammes and had a potential street value of £900.
He said: “They seem to have been cut out of one single bar that’s been sourced by her and if friends turn up looking for some she will give it to them.
“It’s accepted she wasn’t seeking out purchasers to come to her.”
Sheriff Philip Mann said that anyone convicted of supplying controlled drugs could be sent to prison and as she had never been locked up before he would have to call for background reports.
He also agreed to the Crown’s request to forfeit the drugs and a sum of money that was also found at the address.
