A HOUSE in Lerwick’s Hoofields was damaged after a fire broke out around 6.15pm on Thursday.

Two appliances from the Lerwick fire brigade joined police at the scene and took just over half an hour to extinguish the blaze, which left one room damaged by heat and smoke while the rest of the house was smoke damaged.
