Letters / Unethical investment
I agree 100 per cent with Craig Johnson regarding “ethical” investment (Ethical investments, SN, 7 June 13).
Presumably Mr Johnson is unaware that the indigenous people of his own islands are fighting against an unethical investment made by their own council/charitable trust.
The noise, pollution and destruction of the natural environment – never mind the human health aspects – will have a huge detrimental effect on the native people of the area.
Obviously Mr Johnson cares deeply about these issues, and I hope he will join us in Sustainable Shetland in our efforts to stop the abomination that is the Viking Energy wind farm.
