News / Sentence deferred
SENTENCE on a registered sex offender for storing photos of naked children on his computer was deferred at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday until robbery charges he faces before the high court have been dealt with.
John Millarkie pled guilty last month to possessing indecent images at his home at 2 Brevik Cottages, Burgh Road, Lerwick, between 22 August and 22 November 2011.
Sheriff Philip Mann deferred sentence on the 54 year old until 17 October to await the outcome of the high court proceedings.
