Letters / Living within a windfarm
So the big bad environmentally-pillaging Viking Energy Ltd. has been rebranded to a much more eco-cuddly sounding Shetland Charitable Trust Renewables Ltd.
Perhaps councillors and trustees of Shetland Charitable Trust would like to have a listen to the experiences of a lady from the Scottish Borders.
She lives within one mile of the Dalswinton wind farm, 12 miles from Lockerbie in Scotland.
Her experiences are precisely what Shetland Charitable Trust Renewables Ltd intends to force on the residents who will live in the shadow of 73 of their 103 turbines.
