Letters / Happy to contribute
In response to Kenny Johnson (Truly ludicrous; SN 8/2/13), I could separate Whimbrel from Curlew over 40 years ago and I suspect this simple identification skill is more prevalent among those opposing Viking Energy than those supporting it.
Like many others, I am more than happy to have contributed what I can afford towards Sustainable Shetland’s legal costs, but just wish the previous council had saved us the expense of this phase of the controversy by triggering a Local Public Inquiry in the first place.
