SHETLAND folk are being warned of ice on roads and pavements on Wednesday evening as the harsh winter weather continues.
After Monday’s strong westerly winds, hail, sleet and snow showers are set to blow in from the north with temperatures dipping to freezing.
The Met Office said: “Where showers have left surfaces wet or with slushy snow, ice will readily form, especially on untreated surfaces.”
