NON essential crew are being airlifted off a North Sea oil platform as a precuation after an oil leak.
All 159 workers on the Cormorant Alpha platform almost 100 miles off Shetland are reported safe and well.
The oil is believed to have been contained inside one of the platform’s legs and none released into the sea.
A technical team from owners Taqa Bratani is investigating the leak, which took place on Monday afternoon.
