SHETLAND police have arrested a 29 year old man after a male passenger had to be cut free following a single vehicle crash in Lerwick in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Police said the passenger had to be taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital to treat his injuries.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
