News / Drink driver banned
A TEENAGER from Unst was banned from driving for two years when appearing from custody before Lerwick Sheriff Court, on Monday.
Seventeen year old Colin Hourston, from Westings, Uyeasound, pled guilty to being almost four times the legal limit when stopped by police in Lerwick’s Gilbertson Road in the early hours of Saturday.
Hourston was also fined £600 and told that he could reduce the period of disqualification by three months if he successfully completes the drink driver rehabilitation course.
