121121 Aidan Moffat Bill Wells BW

THE FIRST fruits of Shetland’s collaboration with the leading Scottish promoters behind the T In The Park festival comes to Lerwick’s Mareel next month.

The highly respected musical duo of Aidan Moffat and Bill Wells will be backed by a full five piece band when they perform songs from their award winning album Everything’s Getting Older along with some brand new tunes.

The one off concert on 8 December has been organised by DF Concerts and Events in association with Shetland Arts.

Recommending people pick up tickets early to avoid disappointment, marketing officer Lisa Ward said: “We’re very pleased to have secured such a rare one-off performance by these award-winning home-grown musicians, and we hope to see music-fans Shetland-wide coming out to enjoy this concert.”

Tickets are available now via Shetland Box Office in Mareel and Islesburgh on 01595 745 555 or 01595 745 500, or at www.shetlandboxoffice.org or www.mareel.org.
