Letters / Apologise and withdraw
Dr Wills (Not ditched; SN 16/11/12) obviously cannot distinguish between Viking Energy and Shetland Charitable Trust. For the vice-chair of the latter, this demonstrates an extraordinary confusion.
Not only has he failed to establish the facts regarding the aborted VE health impact assessment, but he also has the audacity to accuse Andrew Halcrow, chair of Sustainable Shetland, of ‘making things up’.
As Dr Wills wrote this letter in his capacity as vice-chair of SCT, I sincerely hope SCT has enough integrity to offer a public apology to Mr Halcrow and to ask Dr Wills to withdraw his remark.
