News / Roads warning
POLICE are advising drivers in Shetland to take care during the current cold snap after two cars were involved in minor accidents in Quarff and Wormadale on Friday morning.
Council gritters were out first thing as temperatures dropped below zero for the first time this season, bringing a light dusting of snow across the isles.
All main roads and most minor routes have been treated and temperatures are forecast to rise by the weekend.
