News / Cilla and Artie’s farewell

Cilla Fisher

THIS weekend’s visit by The Singing Kettle will be the last featuring veteran performers Cilla Fisher and Artie Tresize who are hanging up the hob after 30 years.

The couple first came to Shetland in the 1970s as a folk duo and holds a special place in their hearts.

The couple have said they feel the time is right to introduce new blood to continue the success of the show.

This weekend’s shows are called Fancy Dress Party where the there is a lot of dressing up for the sing-alongs that are The Singing Kettle’s trademark.

Tickets are still available for Saturday 20 October’s performances at 12 noon and 3pm online at Shetland Box Office or by phone on 01595 745555.
