News / Lerwick harbour shortlisted
LERWICK Harbour is one of four companies shortlisted in the ‘Best Oil and Gas’ section of the 2012 Energy North awards.
A total of nine different awards will announced during the Energy North awards ceremony at the Drumossie Hotel, in Inverness, next Friday.
Ian Couper, chief executive of Energy North, said the awards recognised the top organisations and individuals in the oil and gas, renewables and supply chain sectors.
“In the past year we’ve had positive announcements about Nigg, the Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters Marine Energy Park and the Beauly to Denny line, all of which will have a knock-on effect for hundreds of local businesses.
“The Energy North awards are the perfect opportunity to celebrate the industry’s successes together. We are all really looking forward to it.”
