SHETLAND Islands Council is reminding prospective candidates for the forthcoming community council by-election that they have only until Tuesday 4pm to hand in their papers.

Positions remain vacant on:  

  • Delting Community Council – Mossbank, Firth and Toft Ward
  • Delting Community Council – Voe Ward
  • Dunrossness Community Council – Levenwick Ward
  • Bressay Community Council
  • Sandwick Community Council

Nomination packs and further information is available from the relevant community council clerk, or from Rachel Macleod, at the council’s committee services office on 01595 744553.
