News / Woman rescued from harbour
EMERGENCY services in Lerwick were called to the town’s Victoria Pier on Sunday afternoon after receiving reports of a woman in the water.
The 26 year was removed from the water by a concerned member of the public and taken by ambulance to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for checks.
Police said the young woman was not injured and there don’t appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
