News / Happy Mondays gig moved

Happy Mondays.

HAPPY Monday’s second Shetland gig has now been moved from Sunday 16 December to Friday 14 December to include an after show DJ set from legendary DJ Graeme Park.

Promoters Klub Revolution and Shetland Arts said that the show would further include two support acts: locals lads The Revellers and UK Happy Mondays support act John Wean.

Previously bought tickets for the Sunday gig will be valid on the Friday.

A spokesman said the shift in date had been for logistical reasons. The two Shetland gigs are the only Scotland dates of the current Happy Mondays UK tour.

“The Saturday 15 December show sold out in just a couple of days earlier this month and keen interest has been expressed from across the UK in the additional date,” the spokesman said.

Tickets for the Friday (14 December) gig go on sale at 10am this Friday (28 Sept) from the Shetland Box Office at www.shetlandboxoffice.org
