Letters / Twaddle
“So – no: islanders would not be better placed to take such decisions until they can be grown up enough to organise themselves into parties and tell people in advance what their policies are and allow folk to vote for a joined-up manifesto rather than some individual’s wish-list.” (Isles not ready for more power; SN 14/5/12)
“A joined-up manifesto”? I have read some arrant nonsense in the past, but please, Robin Barclay, prey what is a joined up-manifesto?
Please explain in English for us simple souls who do not speak or understand twaddle.
