Letters / Noise a serious problem
Shadow flicker is just one problem. Worldwide more and more research is indicating a serious problem with noise pollution. As a general rule of thumb, the more powerful the turbine the more noise will be generated.
There has been no noise risk assessment with Viking at all. The “new more powerful turbines” Viking Energy is considering to install to compensate the project being smaller than planed have no peer reviewed data on noise generation at all.
For that reason, among others, international and Scottish guidelines recommend that large turbines should be more than 2,000 meters from homes. A simple fact completely ignored by Viking Energy.
No Health Impact Assessment has been delivered and Viking Energy as originally promised.
That is a matter of deep concern to me, as previously stated “I will use all and every avenue open to me to defend the rights of those living too close to large turbines”.
I am no great fan of Trump Enterprises but as previously stated I know a man with £10 million who shares my views on this wind farm and when and if it comes to legal fees, £10million would be a good fighting fund.
If it became necessary to help those living under turbines I would not hesitate in asking anyone for help, including Mr Trump!
