News / Hrossey back by Friday
THE LAST of the NorthLink vessels going through their extended dry-docking period is to re-enter the passenger service later this week, five days ahead of schedule.
The Hrossey will take up its timetable again when she is due to sail from Aberdeen on Friday.
It will be the first time since 23 January that the ferry company’s fleet will operate at full capacity.
NorthLink managing director Bill Davidson said: “We would like to thank customers for their patience while the longer than normal dry-dock period has been in operation.
“Work on each of the three vessels has taken slightly less time than expected – and that is thanks to the ship’s crew and the workforce at Cammell Laird.
“Our booking system is now open for normal business with Hrossey and, Hjaltland soon to be operating to their regular schedule,” he said.
