News / NorthLink disruption
NORTHLINK has again been forced to alter its timetable due to stormy weather conditions and tidal conditions at Aberdeen harbour over the next two days.
The Hrossey scheduled to depart Aberdeen at 5pm on Thursday for Kirkwall and Aberdeen will now sail directly to Shetland where she is expected to arrive at 3am on Friday morning.
NorthLink said that disembarkation will be as normal between 7.30 and 9.30am.
She will then delay her return journey until 3am on Saturday morning sailing directly to Aberdeen with no Kirkwall call. Estimated time of arrival in Aberdeen is 2pm on Saturday.
Passengers are asked to check in as normal to allow for an earlier departure should conditions allow.
Meanwhile, the departure of the freight vessel Hildasay from Lerwick sailing to Aberdeen has been brought forward from 6pm to 4pm, on Thursday.
The vessel will leave Aberdeen again on Friday at 4pm sailing to Kirkwall and Lerwick.
NorthLink apologises for any inconvenience.
