News / Hot tip for folk fest
HOTLY tipped rising band Admiral Fallow has been booked to play a one off gig in Lerwick on 3 May as part of this year’s Shetland Folk Festival.
The coup has been made possible thanks to financial help from Creative Scotland.
The agency’s Iain Munro said: “We are delighted that through the Year of Creative Scotland many of these festivals have been able to expand their programmes. We look forward to an even bigger and better Shetland Folk Festival this year.
A folk festival spokeswoman said that advance festival membership was now on sale until 2 March.
Tickets for all concerts will go on sale to advance members in the middle of March and to the general public from 6 April.
