News / Trio charged with Tesco thefts
THREE Lerwick men appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday facing charges of shoplifting from Tesco supermarket in the town.
Steven Irvine, aged 26, of Sandveien, Lerwick, is charged with theft from Tesco on Friday last week.
Darren Lawson, aged 37, of Mill Lane, appeared alongside 28 year old Calum Jamieson, of St Olaf Street, charged with theft from Tesco on Wednesday last week, and from AL Laing’s pharmacy on the town’s Commercial Street on Friday. Mr Jamieson is also charged with possession of cannabis resin.
All three were released on bail having made no plea and are due to appear again on 22 February.
