FERRY operator NorthLink is warning of the possibility of more disruption to its schedule due to further severe gales forecast for the area.
All passengers sailing on the route between Shetland and Aberdeen for Thursday and Friday are currently under review, as are the scheduled sailings of the two cargo vessels, Hildasay and Helliar.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for the Highlands, Grampian, Tayside and Fife, and a red warning for parts of Central Scotland.
