News / Just one ferry on Yell Sound
INTER-islands ferry services on Yell Sound should be back to normal at about lunchtime after one of the two ferries had to be taken out of service this morning (Monday).
A ferries department spokesman said that one of the rescue boats on board the ferry was “out of action” preventing the ferry from sailing.
“We should be back to both vessels about lunchtime,” he said.
