News / Hrossey cancelled
FRIDAY night’s sailing of the Hrossey from Aberdeen to Lerwick has been cancelled, ferry operator NorthLink said this morning.
The southbound crossing of the Hjaltland leaving Lerwick at 5.30pm to Kirkwall and Aberdeen will go ahead as scheduled.
However, Hjaltland’s northbound journey on Saturday is under review with another update expected on Saturday morning.
Due to the adverse weather forecast the departures of the cargo boats Hildasay and Helliar have been brought forward by three hours. Hildasay will now leave Lerwick at 3pm and Helliar is scheduled to lsail from Aberdeen at 2pm.
