News / Ferry services resume
INTER-island ferry services across Shetland have resumed after they were suspended earlier on Thursday when storm force north westerly winds sweeped across the islands.
The Bressay, Yell Sound and Bluemull Sound services are now back on. The Whalsay service remains suspended until 2pm.
Meanwhile, the NorthLink ferry Hjaltland was due to arrive in Aberdeen at 9.30am, while the northbound Hrossey is expected to arrive in Lerwick not before 2.30pm. The Hrossey will leave Lerwick again at 7pm as scheduled.
