News / Full emergency at Scatsta
EMERGENCY services rushed to Scatsta airport on Tuesday afternoon after an Aberdeen bound aircraft had to turn back to the airport as a precaution.
A warning light from a smoke detection system had gone off in the Saab 2000 aircraft operated by Eastern Airways. The aircraft had 33 passengers and three crew on board.
The aircraft landed safely and emergency services stood down. Engineers could find no fault with the aircraft.
