News / Man due in court after heroin seizure

A FORTY-FOUR year old man is due to appear before Lerwick Sheriff Court later today (Wednesday) after he was arrested at the Holmsgarth ferry terminal on Tuesday when police seized heroin with a street value of more than £5,000.

Police said the seizure was the result of “determined action from the police to act on information provided by the public”.
