News / Drink driver banned for two years
A FORTY nine year old Lerwick man was banned from driving for two years and fined £750 after he admitted having been two and half times over the legal limit when stopped by police on Thursday.
Appearing before Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday morning, Konrad Flaws, of St. Olaf Street, was told by honorary sheriff Malcolm Bell that he could reduce the length of disqualification by six months if he completed a drink driving rehabilitation course.
